Comments/Rules: Players in Edmonton: we're looking for a few players whoc an enjoy draining someone or something's brainpan with lead, but don't need to do it every time we play. Players who want to look at character "realism" and development are of great interest to us. New to the Deadlands system? Comments/Rules: I am looking for 3-5 gamers to join my wife and I in RPGs and occaisional boardgaming.
Hoping to start a new group interested in a variety of gaming in the cambridge/somerville/arlington or surrounding area.
Available: TUES/WEDS/FRI nights or weekends to meet 2-3 times a month.
I will gladly GM or we can alternate as interests are piqued.
I would start off with a 2-3 session Babylon 5 RPG (love/disinterest in the show should'nt be a hindarance)
This will allow everyone to determine if they like the group/my gming style etc.
From here based on Groups preference, I will run one or more of the following:
CONSPIRACY X : X-file / shadow goverment action espionage RPG (Think modern day Ars Magica Espionage w/ Aliens)
WARHAMMER FANTASY RPG
D&D 3E
DEADLANDS : Wild west supernatural horrors and magic, leads to post-apocalyptic futuristic gaming as well (HOE)
Castle Falkenstein: (19th century europe swashbuckling fantasy fun)
along with a couple others that I am willing to run: Feng shui, Jorune...
And on occasion if interest is good take in a board game or two.
We can fit a group of 6 in our APT. or meet elsewhere.
Gaming for 25years (only 41, but fun natured) and in 15 years of GMing various times at Gencon and other conventions, never had a player complain yet, at least none left living to talk about it.
