Comments/Rules: Hi. I've been interested in Dungeons and Dragons for years. I know the rules, but I have had no-one to play with. I say I'm a novice because I have yet to really play even. I am looking for a group to join
D&D 4E UK Skype game looking for two players
Posted On Tue Jan 12 12:09:51 MST 2010

Challenger: Doktor (#7207) - <contact>
Player Skill: Intermediate
Comments/Rules: We've had a couple of players leave our D&D 4E game and are looking to replace them. We are currently playing through The Shackled City with a mild Forgotten Realms flavour (converted to 4E). The party consist of a level six swordmage, rogue and warlock so some sort of healer might be appreciated but its up to the group to decide what they need. We play on a Thursday evening from 1900 to 2300 UK using Skype and maptools veggie. If you think you can commit to turning up (we all take holidays, but the players do really try to turn up every week) then let me know and I will put you in touch with the guys and gal to create a character. Cheers, The Dok
WesleyStreet's Eberron Game

Comments/Rules: We are currently looking to fill two or even three spots in our 4th ed. Eberron campaign along with meeting RPG players in the Indy Northside area. We meet weekly on Saturday mornings at my apartment south of Castleton/west of Lawrence from 10:30 AM until around 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break in the middle. If you're looking for a long-term game (and I plan to take this campaign to level 30, baby!) and you're cool, respectful and laid-back then we may be the group for you. Naturally we're interested in players who know the rules but if you're new but dedicated we will be happy to teach you. Our current campaign is paused at Level 2 as we've just begun the Seekers of the Ashen Crown module. This is my first time DMing Dungeons & Dragons but I game mastered a Shadowrun campaign for two years straight. I also wrote adventures professionally for Catalyst (the publishers of Shadowrun) for about a year for their Missions line. Other game interest of ours include Spycraft 2.0, 2300AD, and the new Eclipse Phase game. We're all working professionals in our thirties, total nerds, totally awesome and totally loveable. I have a fairly extensive library of D&D 4e books as well as hundreds of minis so all you'd need to bring is a basic Player Handbook and your player sheet. I'd describe our style as "one-part role-play/one-part roll play." My games are usually very heavy in plot and story so even if you have a bad day with dice, at least you will be entertained. Feel free to contact me at wesley_street(at)hotmail.com or post a reply and we can chat.
Comments/Rules: I live in Northern Michigan in Oscoda, and would like to form a D & D 4.0 group. I am a newbie and would hope that the other players would be as well, but I am not opposed to having skilled players as long as they're patient and not jerky about things. I have a set of books, but it would be assumed that you would have at least the players handbook and your own dice.
Colorado - Denver Area - Two New D&D 4E Campaigns Starting Soon!

Comments/Rules: Greetings fellow gamers! My name is Josiah, and I'm planning to run at least a couple of new 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons campaigns in the very near future. I live in Littleton, Colorado, so I am looking for players who also live in the Denver area, or perhaps even Boulder or Colorado Springs if you're willing to drive a bit further. I think that I've got some very exciting and unique ideas planned for these games, so if you're a gamer who wants to play 4E D&D, my campaign site is worth checking out. New to D&D, or roleplaying gaming in general? No problem! I'm happy to introduce you to the game. No elitists here, just fun people having a fun time. Join in! Old veteran who expects a quality campaign? Step right up, I've got what you want! I've been doing this for 22+ years (since I was 8 or 9 years old!), and I enjoy and am at least moderately proficient with all playstyles of RP gaming. My games will cater to both the deep roleplaying story-focused types, AND the tactically-minded wargaming types. We will take full advantage of all of the crunchy goodness of the new rules system, while aiming at the same time for a meaningful roleplay experience which transcends mere hack and slash, with genuine character development beyond simply gaining levels and raising stats. At the same time, I'll go out of my way to make the game as accessible as possible to players of various personalities and levels of experience. There's quite a large amount of information and player resource documents posted on the little site I've set up to coordinate the game. I invite any interested player (even if you're not a local and don't plan to actually join my game!) to come and check out what I've got to say, and the promotional and player-aid materials that I've provided. The site for my campaigns and players is a Google Group, found at: http://groups.google.com/group/josiah4e For general information about the games I intend to run, I'd direct you first to read the "Introductions and Intentions from your Dungeon Master" post in the section called "The Agora", and then the "Update!" post in the same section. The post "Status Report" will bring you up to speed on what you need to do in order to get involved. For more specific promotional, flavor-related material about my upcoming heavy story/RP campaign (the second game I'll be starting), check out some of the web pages I've put together in the section of the site called "The Proscenium", in particular the "Penumbra: On Tenebrous Wings - Campaign Promo #1" and "Penumbra: On Tenebrous Wings - Campaign Promo #2" pages. If you decide that you're interested in joining my FIRST game, entitled "New Wine, Old Wineskins", which will be starting BEFORE the Penumbra campaign, please read the page called "New Wine, Old Wineskins - Introduction and Character Creation Guidelines" in The Proscenium. There are a TON of files in the "Athenaeum" section for your use, including all sorts of character creation information and aids, character sheets, handy reference and tracking sheets of various kinds, and more. Feel free to use or copy anything that you wish! I also have a nice "Great Links for Players!" page in The Proscenium with a lot of VERY useful sites listed for 4E D&D players, and roleplayers in general. So please, come and check out my campaign offerings, whether you intend to play or not. Anyone may join the Google Group freely, with no need for authorization, and you can post a message right away, if you like. Don't hesitate to speak up if you have any interest at all. Comments and questions are welcome. I'm looking forward to meeting some new gaming friends and having some great D&D sessions together! http://groups.google.com/group/josiah4e
