Jul 4, 2005: Updated source code for download with most recent version

Feb 19, 2005: Changed the login script to deal with the initiai sponsor page and the new frame layout. IMPORTANT: there is a 'human test' where you have to periodically enter the number displayed in an image. If the script fails because of this you will need to login manually to enter that number.

Aug 21, 2003: Fixed a problem logging in to the server via the tools.

Jun 2, 2002: Posted release 4 of the source code with the earlier minor changes to connect to talk to the server.

Oct 21, 2001: There were a couple of minor changes to the login process, so these have been accounted for and the scripts should be working again. I have not tested all the scripts, just Group Search.

May 10, 2001: Updated the source code available with Release 3. Several things have been updated for compatibility purposes - no new features.

Dec 3, 2000: Got the utilities working with the new server. Was a little tricky dealing with frames, but it's working now. Tested the Spam tool, and Group Search. Unfortunately, Group Search won't be as useful anymore since there is now a daily limit of 25 searches on the server. The News Summary is untested since my test empire had no news. Ally Stats is untested since I had no allies.

I noticed there is some additional information that might be worth getting the Group Search tool to indicate (such as Clan). I'm sure there are other utilities that could be written to automate some of the other new features in the game.

Warning: I have not updated these utilities so some of them may be broken and non-functional (such as auto earn-a-turn). If you fix up the code then please send me the new one and I will put it up.

This is a new format that uses some javascript to put a lot of common information into one form. If it seems flaky or your browser doesn't support it you can still use the old utilities page. Let me know because I'm debating if I should delete the old page or go back to it.
